Terms of Service
Effective date: March 11, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the DataDrop platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including administrators, team members, and anyone who accesses the Service on behalf of an organization.
2. Description of Service
DataDrop is a data delivery platform that connects to customer data warehouses, executes scheduled queries, and delivers exported files to Amazon S3 buckets. The Service includes the web portal, API, worker infrastructure, and documentation.
3. Accounts & Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each account is tied to a single organization. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You may invite team members to your organization. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and the accounts of users you invite.
4. Customer Data
You retain all rights to the data you process through the Service (“Customer Data”). DataDrop accesses Customer Data solely to provide the Service—executing queries and delivering results to your designated S3 buckets.
DataDrop does not sell, share, or use Customer Data for any purpose other than providing and improving the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any data you submit through the Service.
5. Warehouse Credentials
When you provide warehouse connection credentials (passwords, tokens, service account keys), DataDrop encrypts them at rest and accesses them only to execute queries on your behalf. You may use AWS Secrets Manager ARNs as an alternative to direct credential storage.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without authorization
7. Availability & Support
DataDrop strives to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Support is provided via email and response times depend on your plan.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataDrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked. DataDrop will delete your account data within 30 days of termination unless legally required to retain it.
10. Changes to Terms
DataDrop may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
